About

I am a product and organizational leader working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, human centered technology, and disability innovation. My career spans consumer technology, executive leadership, and community based systems that support independence, dignity, and access.

I currently work at Microsoft, where I help shape product strategy for AI powered consumer experiences including Copilot and Bing. My work focuses on multimodal systems, voice driven interaction, and translating advanced technology into tools that are intuitive, useful, and human centered. I am especially interested in how AI can reduce friction in everyday life and make information more accessible, contextual, and actionable.

Before Microsoft, I worked at Amazon on Alexa and multimodal devices, building voice first and ambient computing experiences used by millions of customers. This work deepened my focus on practical innovation and delivering technology that works in real world environments.

Earlier in my career, I served for eight years as the Executive Director of an independent living center, leading programs that supported people with disabilities in navigating healthcare systems, housing, employment, and community life. I oversaw organizational strategy, public funding, cross sector partnerships, and frontline services that directly impacted thousands of people. That experience grounded my leadership in real world systems, policy, and the daily realities people face when services fail to connect.

My perspective is also shaped by lived experience. I was born blind and navigate the world using non visual tools and spatial awareness. This lens informs how I approach product design, user research, and systems thinking. It helps me identify gaps between technical possibility and lived usability.

I am also a lifelong athlete and Paralympic medalist. Elite sport taught me resilience, discipline, and how to perform under pressure. Those lessons continue to shape how I lead teams and execute ambitious work.

Across every role, my focus is consistent: build systems and technologies that expand independence, opportunity, and human potential.

I speak and write about artificial intelligence, multimodal interaction, disability innovation, and the future of human centered technology.
